Typologies

Each team designs a building in one of three typologies.

    Focused on social housing and decent homes.

    Public school

    Focused on high-quality learning environments.

  • EDP

    Public community service building

    Focused on institutional infrastructure serving citizens.

Participating teams will compete by typology, presenting their projects at the in-person Final event of the Solar Decathlon Brasil 2027 | Design Challenge Latin America and the Caribbean competition.

Finalist teams will defend their projects before a specialized jury, and winning projects will be chosen for each typology.
